Our church is an old church with a fresh start. The original body of believers that organized themselves and called their first pastor was known as the Moore Bible Church. Twenty one years later their pastor led them to change their name to the Suburban Baptist Church, a name they carried for the next 44 years. In February 2014, we chose once again to change our name to the Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Embracing “New Beginnings” as the theme for our first year under our new name, we set out to “make all things new.” We continued to teach and preach salvation in our Lord Jesus Christ in the hopes that the lost of this world might hear and allow Him to become the Savior they so desperately need. The Lord has blessed and we have seen His blessings come in the salvation of those who have turned to Him for forgiveness and hope, and then begin walking a new path in life, a path that He has made new, joyful, and abundant.
We also restructured the new Cornerstone Baptist Church, and our new leadership structure is primed for future growth. Rev. Denny Madory became our new pastor as of September 2013, and the Lord blessed our new union as pastor and church by sending us over 80 new members in our first year together which more than doubled our membership.
Immediately following the launch of the new church (CBC) in February, we set out to completely remodel the interior of the original sanctuary building. The old building was built in the 1950s and then added onto in the early 1970s. We remodeled in 2 phases: Phase 1 being the original sanctuary portion of the building and Phase 2 being the 1970s addition. We are pleased to praise the Lord for allowing us to completely remodel and renew the building and to do so patiently and by paying cash along the way. No debt. We now have a new sanctuary, new foyers, new restrooms, new chairs, new baptistry, and a new church / staff office wing.
From our new pastor, new leadership structure, new name, newly remodeled facilities, and new vision – we are positioned for any and all possibilities for growth and spiritual success that the Lord has in store for us, the people of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Our vision is set on the person Jesus Christ and a commitment to living our lives His way. Without Him we have no vision, no clarity, nor any direction. But with, in, and through Him we have vision, direction, and hope for the future.
Our vision is focused on our faith, families, fellowship, and our future. Everything we do is intended to reveal and improve those four things.
Our leadership team is structured to ensure balance is maintained for the good of all people. Our Pastor has selected qualified men to assist him in the ministry. These men (deacons, assistant pastors, and church officers) all “sit at the table” as equals to assist our pastor in the leadership, care, protection, and service of our members.
Our future rests in our children, specifically Christ alive in strength and power through their yielded lives to Him. Our greatest treasure (the Gospel) is invested into each and every child the Lord sends our way. He is our hope and our future, and He alive and well in the next generation is the greatest gift we can give to the world.
